ECONYL® REGENERATED NYLON
All of our swimwear is created from ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon fiber from pre and post consumer nylon waste such as fishing nets, carpet flooring, and industrial plastic. The fabric made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon is incredibly soft and resistant to chlorine, UV rays, and sun creams. This means your ISAMEL swimwear not only looks and feels amazing, but is also durable, and helps to preserve the environment and save the planet.
You can find more information on ECONYL® nylon here.
Extra cut-off fabric pieces are sewn into accompanying scrunchies and hair accessories. Any small leftover pieces are donated to a pillow-making factory and local artisans. None of our fabric scraps are thrown away or end up in landfills.
We’ve partnered with a top fashion embroidery house in India which makes sequins that are created from 100% recycled plastic. Their ingenious process uses recycled plastic that is collected from city streets in India. This partnership contributes to cleaner local communities and provides new and necessary jobs to the region - truly turning waste into a beautiful opportunity.
We are committed to only partnering with the most ethical manufacturers.
Our swimwear manufacturer is a 100% ethical family-owned business. Everyone is over 24 years old, paid well above the nation’s minimum wage, and men and women are paid equally.
Our embroidery vendor is also a 100% ethical operation and has been serving luxury fashion houses since 1967 with unparalleled quality.
Our manufacturers ensure their employees’ rights are honored. Both facilities are state of the art, routinely cleaned, have access to running water, electricity, air conditioning, ventilation, and comfortable work stations.
We are very proud to share that both of our manufacturing partners are also women-owned businesses that produce the finest products in their fields.
Our packaging is elegantly minimalist and created from eco-friendly recycled paper materials which are 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable.
No plastics are used to ship our products to customers.
We stand behind everything we make and are very proud of our quality.
Our swimwear is designed and constructed to last five years or longer with proper care. We offer an excellent repair program, which is quite rare in the swimwear market.
Customers can send back any piece up to two years after purchase for repairs if ever needed.
